Long run, quicker swim
I got my long run in for the week today, I ran around Lake Union which took about 45 minutes. It is about a 6 mile run, but I did about a 1.5 mile warm up running over to Pocock Rowing Center, my starting point for the run (and my old shell house). I did my 2 min off 1:30 on intervals. The run felt pretty good the whole way, my new shoes feel great. This will be a good bump up from my Portage Bay run and good training for running 5Ks. I had another good swim this afternoon. I still feel pretty tired out by the end of the workout, but at least my sprint times at the beginning of the workout are a little quicker. Not as quick as they need to be, but quicker. My backstroke is getting a little better, butterfly is still a mess though.
